The massive size of the student body; the Christmas choral concerts; the basketball teams, and watching Roger Brown from Wingate and Billy Cunningham from Erasmus put on an incredible display of basketball prowess when they played against each other; seeing Bobby Fisher (the chess genius) as he walked through the halls of Erasmus with a backback and his attention totally internalized; being asked to join the football team by the coach and very happy when my mother refused to allow me to play for fear of my getting hurt (I had the same fear); unfortunately no academic experience stands out, or teacher stands out as having made a difference in my life, though being part of the culture of Erasmus definitely had a wonderful impact on my life.

How I have maintained my youthful charm, sense of humor, good looks and magnetic personality over the years :). The adventurous paths I have taken over the years. Ever since leaving teaching in Brooklyn, every 5 to 7 years I have recreated my life - from author, to international lecturer, to consultant, to founder and editor in chief of an award wining magazine on education, to traveling over 2 million miles to 41 countries, and through all this happily married to Caralyn for 41 years.
