Diane Wattstein Master

After graduation from college, I married Alan in 1964, and we had been married for 52 years prior to his passing February 2017. I was mostly a stay at home mom and active participant in Alan's banking career on the social side. live with two cats and 3 dogs. After my daughters were grown, I discovered my passion for travel both as a consultant and an avid traveller for the last 25+ years, working both in corporate travel management (on the leisure side of the business) and now as an independent travel consultant. I love to see new places and people, take lots of photos. I have 3 grandsons who are the most wonderful gift of all, and I am so fortunate to have them and my daughter Michelle and son-in-law Shawn living in New Canaan nearby as well. My daughter Meredith lives in Manhattan .It is great to have both my daughters in close proximity. My hobbies include pickleball, mah jong, boating, hiking and snowshoeing. I truly enjoy being a "country" girl as well as a city girl. I recently formed my own company, Master Travel LLC and have partnered with my daughter Michelle Master Orr in this endeavor. Love working with my daughter! Together we focus on creating amazing luxury travel experiences around the world.

I remember Erasmus fondly and all the friends and good times. I wish we had the internet to stay in touch at that time. I lost touch with so many classmates when I married and moved from Brooklyn. It is great that we have this website now and thank those who took the time and effort to create it! I would enjoy hearing from old friends.

As we have aged or matured, I am updating this to the idea that nothing would surprise friends or myself any longer. Life has been an amazing journey. I feel privileged to have had some fabulous times and experiences throughout the years. I am now on my new journey of self awareness having lost my husband of 52 years in 2017. It is the first time in my life that I make this journey on my own as I married right out of college. I look forward to every moment of it and what the future holds.
