How I've spent the last 50 years:
Brooklyn College 1960-64; University of Chicago 1964-68; Peace Corps (Tunisia) 1968-70; teaching: New Jersey 1970-1; Connecticut (1971-74, 1975-79); Taiwan:1974-75; Ben Gurion University: 1980-present (now on sabbatical: Israel: Aug 09-Jan 10, US: Jan 10-Aug 10). Beijing: 2004-2005
So, basically, I never left the classroom. I've been teaching English (30 years) and Chinese (10 years) at Ben Gurion University in Beersheva, after immigrating to Israel in 1979. I have 4 kids from my first marriage to Barbara (1965-1987) and 10-year-old twin girls from my second (and present) marriage (1996-present). All the kids live in Israel and are very close to each other and their parents, which has been my greatest joy.
